Lightfield creative production

Lightfield case study

We made creator-led UGC for Lightfield's AI-native CRM. Instead of opening with a feature list, the videos start with sales problems people already recognize: cold outreach, legacy tools, and the pressure to keep up with faster-moving teams.

The five finished videos are in our Creative Hub. Matt Serna, Lightfield's Head of Growth, shares his take on the work below.

The problem

Explain an AI-native CRM without losing the buyer.

Lightfield captures customer interactions and turns them into useful context for sales teams. That is a lot to ask a short video to explain. The creative needed an entry point a seller could understand before the product detail arrived.

The call

Lead with the work sales teams already know.

The published videos take different routes into the same product: a direct callout to HubSpot and Salesforce users, the drag of cold outreach, a practical workflow tip, and a sharper contrast with legacy CRM infrastructure. Each angle gives the creator a concrete place to start.

Inside the creative

Different hooks. Same buyer.

Step 01

Call out the current stack

'If you're using HubSpot or Salesforce' speaks directly to teams already living in a CRM. No category lecture needed.

Step 02

Name the daily friction

'Doing cold outreach sucks' opens on a familiar sales problem before it asks the viewer to care about a different tool.

Step 03

Try a first-person lesson

'This is the top hack I learned' uses a practical sales-workflow setup instead of a feature-first product pitch.

Step 04

Make the contrast concrete

Two more videos frame the choice around fast-moving startups and legacy CRM infrastructure. The product story stays tied to how a sales team works.

From the client

“Knight Vision's UGC creators have been phenomenal partners for us. They take a complex technical product and communicate how it helps our audience in a way that consistently drives high engagement and conversions.”
Matt Serna, Head of Growth, Lightfield

TL;DR

Make the problem easy to recognize.

  • A seller can recognize cold outreach or an aging CRM in a second. Start there, then earn the product explanation.
  • One technical product can support several distinct hooks. A direct callout, a frustration, and a first-person lesson do different jobs.
  • Give the creator one clear angle to carry. A recognizable pain point does more work in a short video than a list of product features.

The five videos show how each hook earns attention before the product explanation begins.
